ASSIST was developed by a team of educational practitioners who fully understand the needs of an academic institution – the required administrative processes, curriculum programming options, and student and staff management, as well as the processes of accreditation preparation and continued accreditation compliance.
Through supporting our school partners both in the US and internationally, the team at ASSIST LLC has developed a single program that manages LMS, SIS and CMS applications in a single, widely comprehensive program.
Beginning in 2013, we strategically designed and built components that would work together to capture and manage all information that we knew was relevant to the educational workplace and their students. We did not decipher between SIS and LMS features, we built them as part of a single platform knowing that any academic program would need both.
Additionally, our clients wanted a way to manage digital content, develop and host their own, or purchase from the variety of suppliers in the industry. The decision was made to implement our own SCORM compliant server in ASSIST. This would allow for seamless open content integration with 3rd party content providers, thus giving our clients their own CMS functionality without leaving the ASSIST platform.
ASSIST, LLC as a company is comprised of K12 educators with advanced degrees, university registrars, and post-secondary faculty members that combine the understanding of broad range educational requirements in all levels of schooling. Our team is rounded out with a technical team that is available for technical customer support, additional function build out, API and content integration.
As a team, we are very proud of ASSIST and what it can do to streamline school wide administrative processes. Our plan is to cost effectively share with the industry our comprehensive solution and make a significant difference for educators, and academic programs everywhere.
