ASSIST Education names David Benoit as Chief Operating Officer.

RENO, NV – August 1, 2018 – Assist Education LLC announced today that EdTech veteran, David Benoit, has joined the executive management team as Chief Operating Officer.  David brings over 25 years of education management experience to ASSIST Education, which is used in schools worldwide.

ASSIST Education’s CEO, Michael E. Spencer says “We are pleased to welcome David to the team. He is stepping into this key position that will further our efforts both domestically and internationally ensuring our continued operational excellence in delivering our comprehensive educational platform.”

David has had numerous successful ventures which include Lightspan (IPO-2000), Co-nect (sold to Pearson in ‘05), Connections Academy (sold to Pearson in ‘11), Middlebury Interactive Languages (sold to K12.com in 2016), and ScholarCentric (sold to Advance Path in 2015).
